In a heartwarming display of compassion and community spirit, Brightstar-Care Old People’s Home recent free medical mission has brought joy and relief to over 200 beneficiaries. The initiative, designed to provide essential healthcare services at no cost, has left a lasting impact on the lives of those who received treatment, showcasing the power of generosity and care for the elderly and underserved.

According to the hospital over 5000 patients have so far benefited from its the free health outreach in Imo State. Noting that the Free Healthcare programme, which had been providing healthcare services to medically underserved rural communities in the state, was one of several health programmes of the Hospital, targeted at changing improving the health situation of Imo people people.
“The health programme usually includes general consultations, laboratory tests, Eye Checkup, Vital checkups free medicine among other things.”
Through the free medical outreach, the Brightstar-Care Old People’s Home is believed to be restoring people’s health in communities across Imo State.

The programme brought blessings for a housewife, Mrs Ezirim John, who had challenges visiting the hospital for check up on her eyes, she praised God and Brightstar-Care Specialist Hospital for diagnosing an ailment giving her free eye glass and medications.
Mrs John is only one out of many poor people in the remote communities of Imo State who have been rescued through the intervention of BrightStar-Care Specialist Hospital’s free medical missions.
To another indigene of Obibiezena Community , Chikezie Bassey, who brought his mother for treatment, said he was delighted that the free healthcare programme came to the community at a time he was almost giving up hope on how to save his sick mother but could not find money to take her to a private clinic for medical treatment. “You can see the joy in our faces. We are glad Brightstar-Care has come to our rescue,” he said.
